Fundraising & Donations

When a child loses someone they love, it can change their world.

Your support helps bereaved children and young people access specialist grief support, guidance and opportunities to connect with others who understand what they are going through.

As a small local charity, we rely on donations, fundraising, and gifts in wills to continue supporting bereaved children and young people across Exeter, East and Mid Devon. Every gift, whatever its size, helps us provide support, guidance and opportunities for children and families to navigate grief together.

This year is our 20th anniversary year and we’d love to invite you to support us! Click here to find out how you can get involved or read on for other ways you can support us: It’s our 20th Anniversary!

Thank you so much!

“Balloons Support has been extremely valuable for ‘X’ following the death of his best friend. The bereavement had a significant impact on his emotional wellbeing, and the support provided gave him a safe and supportive space to explore and express his feelings. We have noticed that he appears more able to talk about his loss and manage the emotions associated with it. The sessions have helped him develop coping strategies and increased his confidence in seeking support when needed. The service has been delivered with great sensitivity and understanding and we are very grateful for the positive difference it has made to ‘X’s’ wellbeing and engagement in school”

Leave a lasting gift for future generations

A gift in your Will can help ensure that bereaved children and young people continue to receive support for years to come.  After taking care of family and loved ones, many people choose to leave a gift to Balloons as a way of making a lasting difference in their community.  Whatever the size of the gift, your legacy could help a child find hope, understanding and support during one of the most difficult times in their life.

Become a regular supporter

A monthly gift helps us plan ahead and be there for more children when they need us.  Even a small regular donation can make a big difference over time and provides a reliable source of income for our services.

This can be done by setting up a direct debit from your bank, through your payroll or completing our online donation form. Please click here to download our regular giving pack for further information.
